After my lego racism of last week, i have aquired something a little more to my liking…
…brothers in arms (him on the right)
So i think ill be needing a little help naming the wee lad, but this time im gonna be doing things a little differently. I need each and everyone of you to offer up ONE completely new name for the brand spanking new lego fellow. When this list is complied ill throw it open to the face book massive, and get them to vote on the favourite. And whats more a prize of some kind shall be offered up to the winning entry, so go…GET NAMING!

As for names, I will go for: Bob. As in “The Builder.”
I was thinking bout this, as the first is Oleg and that being a change around of Lego, I think we should probably stick to that sort of idea maybe add one letter as you can only make so much out of Lego *wait a minute you can make anything of of lego!!* (weeee you can tell I’m really bored). sooooooooooo…………

I vote for… “Jeff”. Failing that, I vote for… “Vlad”, purely because I can see “Oleg and Vlad” being Russian brothers. Small, plastic Russkies with helmets.
Maybe they can go to up to the Mir together and have a zero gravity buildathon? They could make a lego earth from orbit, I bet that hasn’t been done before.
Failing that, they could conduct experiments with plastic vodka, get shitfaced, and make an international mobile call back to earth that’ll eventually create a debt so large that it’ll cripple the western economy; thus bringing about a tragic reversal of fortune in the global power balance.
Then they get to watch the fireworks from space, all the while knowing that if they just chose “Jeff”, things would have been different. They’d probably own a farm somewhere in North Dakota, eat small bison for tea, and run from the KKK every day.

Ohh at 1st i liked Leo G which rhymed with Run DMC. however i remembered that Oleg is Oleg San denoting his Oriental descent. Perhaps a brother would have similar…..

Golo-Time, like hammer time except you can only use a tiny lego hammer to beat people with, and you cant shuffle left and right like M.C as lego men can’t move their lefts sideways.
Golo-zilla, for those times when he’s eaten a strange mushroom, grown to 40 foot tall and is bashing around cheltenham knocking over the only tall building we have in an attempt to copy Godzilla his oriental hero..

I think the name should be Igor.
The reason?
Well Oleg was a Varangian prince and was supreme ruler of Rus and the Rus people from 882 to 912.
I dont think i need to tell you that the Varangians were vikings, obviously!
Therefore they were totally cool. But where does Igor come from? Well he was Oleg’s successor.
Therefore as ‘Igor’ is new, he can learn the ropes from Oleg to one day be the main lego man!
If you are wondering what i am smoking, its all on the internet, just google it!
Otherwise just tell me to shut up!
PS Even if you disregard the above historical relevance, i think the name is an awesome one to go along with Oleg.
